It’s often hard to find a great place to eat that is always consistent. Over the years Orleans has grown exponentially and thankfully so has it’s restaurant scene. Here are some of my favourite spots, both chain restaurants and independent:
For Breakfast

Moxie’s Grill & Bar A very popular place for business lunches. The atmosphere is very trendy and the food is always on point. It’s also a great spot for a drink on the patio in summer months! https://moxies.com/
Occo Kitchen Innes Another great spot to meet with clients or friends. They are famous for their burgers and tacos! https://www.occokitchen.com/
Greek on Wheels If you’re craving souvlaki or anything Greek, this is the place to go for take out! Grab a value box and enjoy rice, potatoes, salad and tzatziki with your choice of chicken or pork. Yum http://greekonwheels.ca/
Five Guys So you want a burger and fries, that’s it, no fuss. Instead of heading for your typical fast food drive thru, do yourself a favour and take the time to visit Five Guys. They make everything (including your fries) fresh to order. It’s worth it, trust me! http://www.fiveguys.ca/
Al Jabal Bakery If your looking for a light lunch and something you can eat quickly, try Al Jabal’s meat and cheese pies. Sooo satisfying. They are only a couple dollars, LITERALLY. These guys have 5 stars on google…enough said. https://aljabalbakery.webs.com/
For Dinner
Bite Burger House This restaurant is relatively new to Orleans, but was highly recommended to me by multiple people. After visiting, I can now say I think they have the best burger in town!! Try it and see what you think. http://biteburgerhouse.com/
The Works If you’re looking for a very different experience with your burger however, try The Works! They have every different topping imaginable, from mac and cheese to peanut butter! And guess what? Somehow it’s all delicious! Not to mention their substitute burger options are some of the best I’ve ever had including veggie, turkey and chicken. https://worksburger.com/
Cucina Da Vito Okay, so you’re looking for something a bit more romantic. How about Italian? This is our go to spot for date night. It’s a bit more on the pricey side, but the food is amazing!! https://www.facebook.com/CucinaDaVito
Soul Stone Sushi Grill and Bar Not into Italian? Head next door to Soul Stone for sushi! I’m not a huge fan of sushi but this place has so many great options to choose from and offers much more than just sushi. Lone Star Texas Grill Another restaurant new to Orleans, but everyone knows, no one can beat their fajitas. Homemade tortillas with sizzling grilled chicken and veggies. And now they offer new and improved guac that is oh so good! https://lonestartexasgrill.com/

Shawarma Prince It’s hard to pick a favourite shawarma spot because they are all good but a family favourite for shawarma platters is shawarma prince. They give you quite a bit of food and two types of rice. I’m a huge fan of their hummus as well. https://www.shawarmaprince.com/
