- Start watching the prices at your local hardware stores on products and supplies that interest you. By the time you begin your project you will know exactly how much to budget for and what is or isn’t a good deal.
- Choose your contractor. Find a good contractor you can trust before Spring so that you will be near the top of their list and they will be ready to take on your projects sooner than later.
- Bring home samples. Choosing paint colours and other hard surfaces such as backsplashes and countertops can be nerve wracking. So why not bring home some samples to live with for a while? It will be easier to make a decision later.
